About CIIA-Health
The center advances research and development of artificial intelligence techniques and solutions to assist doctors and health professionals in disease diagnosis and treatment, and to help health managers organize preventive care actions to optimize resources and improve population health in Brazil. It is a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional research center integrating computer science, physics, electrical and electronic engineering with health areas including medicine, pharmacy, nursing, biochemistry and immunology.
