Abstract

A recent publication by Ingram et al. revealed the importance of cellular precision in psychiatric epigenetics. Using cellular deconvolution, the authors showed that anxiety is associated with cell type-specific DNA methylation signatures reflecting stress, inflammation, and accelerated aging.
