Mission & Approach
Mission
“Our mission is to empower physicians with AI - saving physicians time, reducing burnout, and improving the quality of patient care.”
AI Approach
Generative AI, LLM, NLP - specifically trained for radiology report generation and clinical language processing
Founding Story
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Jeff Chang (youngest US radiologist in history who worked 10 years as an ER radiologist) and Doktor Gurson (serial tech entrepreneur). Dr. Chang pursued graduate work in machine learning to address worsening radiologist burnout, paucity of assistive technology, and rising imaging volumes. The company was conceived after the co-founders met and officially incorporated in February 2018.
Products & Solutions
Rad AI Continuity
FlagshipsoftwareAutomate patient follow-ups for significant incidental findings in radiology reports
Rad AI Continuity closes the loop on follow-up recommendations for significant incidental findings in radiology reports. The platform tracks more than 50 categories of incidental findings, automates the majority of steps related to patient follow-ups, and significantly increases patient follow-up rates. This improves patient outcomes, reduces health system liability, and drives new financial value.
Rad AI Impressions
FlagshipsoftwareAutomate radiology impressions to save 60+ minutes per shift and reduce burnout
Rad AI Impressions automatically generates impressions customized to each radiologist's language, saving radiologists 60+ minutes per shift. The solution uses generative AI trained on one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world. 84% of users report reduced burnout, and radiologists achieve 90-95% acceptance rates without editing.
Rad AI Reporting
FlagshipsoftwareBreakthrough radiology AI reporting platform that boosts productivity while minimizing fatigue
Rad AI Reporting is a generative AI-powered radiology reporting platform that enables radiologists to 'speak less, say more.' It generates complete reports in the interpreting radiologist's own language, whether using structured reporting or free dictation, by simply dictating pertinent findings. The platform improves both accuracy and efficiency while reducing radiologist fatigue.
