Kheiron Medical Technologies is a UK-based AI cancer diagnostic company that became part of DeepHealth in 2024, a global leader in AI-powered health informatics and wholly owned subsidiary of RadNet, Inc. Founded in 2016 in London with a vision to use deep learning and data science to support radiologists in detecting breast cancer earlier and more accurately, Kheiron developed Mia™ (Mammography Intelligent Assessment), a pioneering AI solution for breast screening decision-making. Mia™ can function as an independent reader, concurrent reader, and triage tool, seamlessly integrating into existing breast cancer diagnostic workflows to enhance diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency. The solution received CE marking in Europe in 2019 and won the AI in Health and Care Award in 2020. Following the acquisition by DeepHealth, Kheiron's technology has been enhanced and integrated into SmartMammo™, part of DeepHealth's broader portfolio of AI-powered solutions for large-scale diagnostic and screening programs.
