Chemify is a chem-tech pioneer founded in 2022 by Professor Lee Cronin, building on two decades of research at the University of Glasgow. Headquartered in Scotland, the company is creating a new digital foundation for chemistry through its proprietary Chemputation technology—a universal chemical programming language combined with advanced robotics and AI that translates digital code into real molecules. This breakthrough system enables fully automated Design–Make–Test–Analyze cycles, eliminating the synthesis bottleneck and accelerating the path from molecular concept to physical compound. At the core of Chemify's platform is a three-part technology stack: ML-based molecular design (Quantum Chemputation), route optimization software (ASSEMBLER), and automated synthesis executed through χDL (chi-DL), the world's first universal chemical programming language. Every design output is synthesis-aware and synthetically tractable, bridging the critical gap between conceptual design and physical makeability. The company's proprietary database contains pre-validated and automated reaction classes that ensure reliability and reproducibility. In 2025, Chemify opened its first Chemifarm in Maryhill, Glasgow—described as the world's most advanced automated synthesis facility.
