About AIxMed

AIxMed, Inc. is a digital pathology company that develops AI-driven computational cytology platforms to transform cancer diagnosis and monitoring. Founded in 2018, the company operates at the intersection of computer science and healthcare, combining advanced artificial intelligence with traditional cytology analysis to improve clinical outcomes and reduce healthcare burdens. The company's flagship product, AIxURO, is an AI-powered software platform for urinary cytology that revolutionizes urine cytology evaluation through advanced artificial intelligence, morphology analysis, and quantitative statistics. AIxURO analyzes and categorizes suspicious and atypical cells using non-invasive urine samples, providing whole-slide intelligence where every cell is analyzed, ranked, and presented in a gallery view from most to least suspicious. The platform integrates into existing laboratory workflows and is compatible with multiple slide imaging systems and Papanicolaou stained slide preparation methods including Cytospin, SurePath, ThinPrep, and Direct Manual Review. AIxMed is expanding its platform across multiple cancer types, with AIxTHY for thyroid cytology, AIxPAP for cervical cytology, and AIxPUL for pulmonary cytology currently in development. The company's solutions are designed for research use only and support pathology laboratories, health systems, and research institutions in improving workflow efficiency, standardizing data analysis, and enhancing the quality of cytology review. AIxMed's technology has been trained on thousands of slides and cells, providing comprehensive cell-level morphological data, quantitative metrics including N/C ratios and nucleus area measurements, and detailed slide-level statistics to support structured cytology research workflows.
