3D-Side S.A. is committed to providing an innovative platform connecting doctors, patients & medical companies allowing to communicate, create and supervise the production of patient-specific medical devices. Our mission: make your surgery 100% successful.

Founding Story

Founded in 2015 as a Belgian spin-off from UCLouvain University. Co-founded by Laurent Paul (PhD in biomedical sciences who developed computerized tools for bone tumor resection during his thesis and founded Visyos in 2013) and Khanh Tran Duy (mechanical engineer with PhD in applied sciences, previously founded Centis engineering in 2011). The company evolved from developing cranioplasty and bone tumor surgery products to creating the Customize platform.
