Triplet-triplet annihilation upconversion (TTA-UC) liposomes are of emerging interest because of their potential bioapplications in biosensing/imaging and light-driven therapeutic delivery. However, a potential challenge in vivo is their stability, since liposomes are prone to enzymatic degradation.
