Abstract

BACKGROUND: The introduction of Trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-Dxd) has exposed clinically significant limitations in accurately detecting HER2-low expression testing when using immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays originally developed to detect HER2 over-expression.
