Founding Story
Odin Vision was founded as a spin-out from University College London, where CRO Patrick Brandao was undertaking PhD research at the Wellcome Trust and EPSRC Centre for Surgical Sciences. Brandao pioneered the use of artificial intelligence in endoscopy and was one of the original contributors to the 2015 MICCAI polyp detection challenge. His research on polyp detection systems, developed in collaboration with clinicians, was spun out of the university and led to the founding of Odin Vision. The founding team includes eminent clinicians and artificial intelligence experts.
